Pre-Booking

Why does HappyK need a proof of address?

As the rental products are expensive, your proof of address is required to verify your identity and used in place of a monetary deposit. Rest assured that the details will only be used for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order.

What document can be used as a proof of address?

It can be any physical or electronic;

  1. Statement
  2. Bill
  3. Correspondence

received within the last 2 months and issued by any;

  1. Government Agencies / Organisations
  2. Utilities
  3. Banks
  4. Insurance Companies

and only need these details to be visible;

  1. Name
  2. Logo / Letterhead
  3. Address
  4. Date

As of 1st September 2019, in compliance with PDPA regulations. HappyK will not accept any NRIC copies as Proof Of Address documents.

What are your free delivery / collection timings?

We provide free doorstep delivery & collection islandwide!

We will deliver on your selected Monday / Thursday, between 6pm to 11pm.

Post-Booking

I've just made a booking and selected to pay via Bank Transfer / PayNow. How do I make payment?

After your booking, you will receive an automated email with the details such as the bank account number / UEN number to perform the transfer.

Alternatively, you can find make payment via the PayNow QR Code found below.

How do I submit the proof of address?

Please refer to the ‘Pre-Booking’ section above on constitutes to a proof of address.

I would like to change my Delivery / Collection Address. How do I proceed?

Please contact us and provide the following details;

  1. House No.
  2. Street Name
  3. Unit Number (if applicable)
  4. Postal Code

Any requests to change the “Delivery Address” / “Collection Address” must be submitted before your selected “Delivery Date” / “Collection Date”. After which there will be a charge of SGD$10.00 to factor for administrative and logistical costs.

I would like to make a cancellation. How do I proceed?

Before requesting a refund, please check the “Delivery Date” on your order receipt.

To cancel your HappyK booking and request a refund, please contact us @ 8768 1334 or at hello@happyk.co and provide us with the following information:

1. Order Number
2. Name

Please be aware that full refund is only available if you make the request at least 5 days before the “Delivery Date”.

I would like to make an extenstion. How do I proceed?

What if nobody is present during delivery?

Please contact us immediately!

In the event of a failed delivery due to the absence of a recipient, your booking will still be in effect from your selected “Delivery Date” and “Collection Date”. A re-delivery can be arranged at a charge of SGD$30.00.

What if nobody is present during collection?

In the event of a failed collection due to the absence of a sender, we will arrange for another collection of the package(s) at a charge of SGD$30.00. There will also be an additional charge of SGD$20.00 to factor for administrative and logistical costs.

Setting-Up

How to connect the Nintendo Switch Console to the TV?

1. Open the back cover of the Nintendo Switch Dock.

2. Connect the USB plug from the Nintendo Switch AC adapter into the top terminal of the dock labeled “AC ADAPTER,” then connect the other end of the AC adapter to a wall outlet.

3. Connect one end of the HDMI cable into the bottom terminal of the dock labeled “HDMI OUT,” then connect the other end into an HDMI port on your television or monitor.

4. Close the back cover of the Nintendo Switch dock.

5. Remove the left and right Joy-Con controllers from the console.

6. Position the console so that the LCD screen faces in the same direction as the front panel on the dock, then insert the console into the dock. While the console is docked, the LCD screen will shut off.

7. Turn the TV set on, and select the correct HDMI input.

How to connect to the internet using a wireless network?

1. Place the Nintendo Switch within 3 meters of the wireless router to ensure a strong wireless signal.

2. On the Nintendo Switch console, select “Settings” from the HOME Menu.

3. Select “Internet,” and then “Internet Settings.” The Nintendo Switch will automatically search for near-by Wi-Fi signals.

4. Select the appropriate network name (SSID) from the list.

  • If you are unable to find your network’s name, stand closer to the wireless router and press the Y Button to search again.
  • If the network name is grayed out, this indicates the wireless security type being used is not supported by the Nintendo Switch.
  • If you are still unable to find your network, this may indicate an issue with the wireless network environment.

5. Use the onscreen keyboard to enter the network’s wireless password.

6. The Nintendo Switch will test the Internet connection. Once the test is complete, select “OK” to complete the process.

How to attach the Joy-Con Controllers to the Nintendo Switch Console?

1. Make sure the Joy-Con are correctly oriented.

First, ensure the LCD screen is facing you. To ensure the right and left Joy-Con are positioned properly with the console, align the “-” symbol on the left Joy-Con with the top left corner of console, and align the “+” symbol on the Joy-Con with the top right corner of the console.

2. Attach the Joy-Con to the Nintendo Switch console.

Use the rail on the side of the console, and slide the Joy-Con from top to bottom, until you hear a click.

How to detach the Joy-Con Controllers from the Nintendo Switch Console?

Press the release button at the back of the Joy-Con while sliding the Joy-Con from bottom to top.

How to attach the Joy-Con Strap?

1. Ensure that the strap lock on the Joy-Con strap is in the “unlock” position (down).

2. Make sure the Joy-Con straps are correctly oriented.

To ensure the Joy-Con straps are positioned properly with the Joy-Con controllers, align the “-“ symbol on the left Joy-Con with the “-“ symbol on one of the Joy-Con straps. Then align the “+” symbol on the right Joy-Con with the “+” symbol on the other Joy-Con strap.

3. Attach the Joy-Con straps to the Joy-Con controllers.

Use the rail on the side of the Joy-Con, and slide the Joy-Con strap from top to bottom until you hear a click.

4. Ensure the Slide Lock on the Joy-Con strap is in the lock position.

How to detach the Joy-Con Strap?

1. Ensure the slide lock at the bottom of the Joy-Con strap is in the “unlock” position.

** To detach the Joy-Con straps it is not necessary to press the release button on the back of the Joy-Con controller.

2. Slide the Joy-Con strap from bottom to top.

Console / Controllers Charging

How to charge the Nintendo Switch Console with the Dock?

1. Open the back cover of the dock.

2. Connect the USB plug from the AC Adapter into the top terminal of the dock labeled “AC Adapter,” then close the cover.

3. Dock the Nintendo Switch console, ensuring that the LCD screen is facing the same direction as the front panel of the dock. Then connect the Nintendo Switch AC adapter into the wall outlet.

How to charge the Nintendo Switch Console directly?

Connect the USB plug from the Nintendo Switch AC adapter (HAC-002) into the USB connector on the bottom of the console, then connect the AC adapter directly into a wall outlet.

How to charge the Joy-Con Controllers?

1. Attach the Joy-Con to the Nintendo Switch console and power it on.

In order for the Joy-Con to charge while attached to the Nintendo Switch console, the console must be connected to the AC adapter and powered on or in Sleep Mode.
